My 6 month old Daughter is named Liberty.  As soon as we starting thinking about costumes for out other kids, we knew we wanted to dress her up as the statue of Liberty.  The dress is a simple long sleeved peasant dress done in flannel so that it was nice and warm for a chilly night out.  I used green felt to make the crown and torch and added some jingle bells to make the torch more interesting to my baby.  You can see in the picture that the torch is blurry because she was shaking it like crazy.
