My daughter wanted a special Halloween costume this year and one that she can use for future Otakon conventions. This was my first attempt at a costume on such a grand scale. The skirt and top used 7 yards of Sateen. I used 7 yards of Brocade for the top front, sleeves, bustle and train. About 8 yards of metallic trim was used. Grommet closure with ribbon were used for the skirt and top.
