My jacket was inspired by the work of Koos van den Akker. The collage used new fabrics and fabrics from my stash. The lining/inside fabric has been in that stash for about 25 years. The light colored fabric was stitched to the base fabric with parallel rows of machine stitching then chenilled. Yards of bias trim was created to outline and cover raw edges of the collage fabrics. Bias trim was used to hem the jacket and finish the armhole. The jacket could be worn inside out but I much prefer the collage side.
