1944 Vogue Dinner Gown in bronze silk taffeta and 1944 Vogue Gown in blush peau de soie.
I recently began sewing a series of 1/3 scale models from my vintage patterns. The models demonstrate how fabric garments made from the patterns will look.
I gleaned inspiration from Le Théâtre de la Mode. As well, The House of Dior drew inspiration from the same exhibit when creating Le Petit Théâtre Dior.
My Petite Mode line is based on 1/3 the size of patterns fitting vintage size 18 (36″ bust, 30″ waist, 39″ hip).
The two designs posted here are the first two I created this spring with flower blooms to boot!

Know Me patterns offer stylish and versatile designs, including the ME2064 rain jacket, which combines a cropped jacket and a vest that can be worn together or separately. The boxy-fit jacket features a hood, snap closure, and multiple pockets, while the vest has a zippered front and cargo pockets. This sewing kit includes templates, fabric recommendations, and instructions for sizes 44-52, proudly made in the USA.
Susan Khalje demonstrates how to add a jump pleat to a garment’s lining to improve movement and durability. This simple technique enhances comfort and garment quality.
