Retro Glam

This retro inspired skirt is made from a lurex brochade.  It's fullness was achieved by underlining with organza, horsehair braid hem and crinoline petticoat.  The halter top was adapted from Retro Butterick 5209 with layers of chiffon and silk organza over gold sequin fabric.  The faux fur cape was made using McCalls 5006. The pyramid shaped sequin purse was adapted from a 2003 "Threads" article on making gift boxes, I just added a handle and some ostrich feathers.
