One of a three-jacket project.  Notched collar, bound buttonholes, single-welt pockets with bias-cut flaps.  Liz Claiborne wool purchased at Vogue Fabrics, Evanston, IL several years ago.
Back vent and vented sleeves.  For this jacket I succeeded in finding buttons in the proper sizes for both sleeves and front--souvenirs of a trip to Glasgow, Scotland.
Close-up of bias-cut single-welt pocket.  I used different-colored linings just for fun.
Vintage pattern, McCall 4065, from 1941.
