Pattern Review: BurdaStyle Sweetheart Neckline Dress
BurdaStyle.com: Sweetheart Neckline Dress 05/2018
A fitted, feminine design with a midcalf hemline, this dress has short raglan sleeves with three front and back raglan seam pleats, a scooped neckline with two curved inserts to mimic a sweetheart neckline, and a lined bodice. In addition, it has a natural waistline, front and back princess seams that continue into the skirt, and an additional pair of front princess seams that align with the skirt’s front darts. In the back, the bodice and skirt have waist darts, and the dress has a center-back exposed zipper closure and center-back vent. This pattern does not include seam and hem allowances. The instructions include basic sewing directions but are not illustrated. All pattern pieces match well. Select fabrics and linings with some spandex.
(Sized European 36–44 for busts 33–39.5 in. and hips 35.5–41.75 in.)

Style Tip: Sew this dress in a stable ponte knit for a dressy look that is comfortable and packs well for travel.
