I recently purchased a second hand Bernina Artista 180. Its a great machine but I could use some advice on many of its features. For example, how do you add a 2nd thread for a double needle application and where do you put the second thread ?

Enjoy your new Artista - its a wonderful machine. I hope you received the manual when you purchased it.
There is a second spool holder that attaches to the right rear of the machine, at the top. It was a standard attachment that came with the machine when originally purchased.
