I am looking for a source for a two part self-covered fabric button. Also called a double button. The fabric center has a self-coverd fabric rim and a shank back. There use to be a company in Bridgport,Conn. called Fashion Touch that would take your fabric and put these buttons together but I’ve found that they are no longer in business. I don’t mind making the buttons but the tool to put them together cost $149.00 and since I need only 36 buttons, I guess I need to find someone who can do it for me with my fabric. Any help that can point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Seams 2 B

A friend of mine purchased cover button blanks at the local JoAnn's store and made earrings to match the skirts she wore with jackets, sometimes by using a piece of the pocket or by shortening the skirt and using a piece of the hem fabric.
