Perfectly Pink
After seeing a similar outfit in a magazine, my daughter decided she would like one. I used New Look pattern 6532 for the pink tank and bolero jacket. The twin set was made out of a matte satin. I then made stripping and ruched it to put around the sleeve edges and the front of the jacket. I was surprised at how well it fit not being a stretch knit. The skirt was a self made pattern using 8 panels. I made one panel for a pattern and cut it in half, on an angle. I then mix matched the materials as I put the skirt together. The project wasn't difficult and turned out rather cute.
