Palmer/Pletsch is Holding a Contest
Sewing experts and pattern designers Palmer/Pletsch are holding a sewing contest, and the prize is a full-tuition gift certificate to one of the company’s four-day or five-day workshops, valued at up to $795—nothing to sniff at!
All you have to do to enter the “Best Rendition of a Palmer/Pletsch Pattern” contest is send an email to Pati Palmer (pati@palmerpletsch.com) by January 31, 2012, containing photos and a description of any garment or set of garments you have made using a current or past Palmer/Pletsch pattern, including any Melissa Watson for Palmer/Pletsch pattern. Palmer/Pletsch patterns are available wherever McCall’s Patterns are sold and at PalmerPletsch.com.
First prize is the gift certificate to a 2012 or 2013 workshop of the winner’s choice (excluding travel expenses) in Portland, Oregon, or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; second prize is a $100 gift certificate toward any Palmer/Pletsch product or workshop; and third prize is a $50 gift certificate toward any Palmer/Pletsch product or workshop. A panel of judges will select the winners.
Winners and their garments will also be featured on the Palmer/Pletsch website and in the Spring 2012 issue of Fashion for Real People, the company’s online magazine. For more information on the contest, visit www.palmerpletsch.com/win-a-workshop.htm.
Have you worked with Palmer/Pletsch patterns or attended any of the Palmer/Pletsch fitting workshops?
