Pattern Roundup: Breezy Blouses
As the weather slowly warms up here in the Northeast, we’ve rounded up a few of our favorite breezy blouses for you to consider.
Nearly all of these patterns include a bonus option to make a dress. Several patterns incorporate gathering and ruffles. Check out this guide to sewing three types of ruffles.
This A-line top features an undulating ruffled hemline and elasticized neckline and shoulder straps that create their own ruffles. You can also make the top with puff sleeves and off-the-shoulder neckline. The sleeve hem echoes the gathered and ruffled neckline. Make this top in a light- to medium-weight woven fabric, depending on the desired drape.
