Style and Sewing Details
This shirt and shorts duo comes in two lengths. Both shirts have a stand collar, bust darts, button placket, and curved hemlines. There are two sleeve options: elbow-length, rolled up and held in place with a buttoned tab; and long, cuffed sleeves with a continuous lap placket. The shorts have a straight waistband, belt carriers, double front waist tucks, back waist darts, a fly front, and slanted hip pockets. The shorter view has 2-inch-wide cuffs and 4-inch inseam, and a longer view has a 6¾-inch inseam.
• The shirt has 5 inches of bust ease. The shorts have no ease at the waist and 7 inches at the hip.
• All notches and match points align, illustrations are clear, and the sewing instructions are generally detailed. However, there are no instructions for installing the fly zipper, so refer to print or online tutorials.
• The shirt is a blank canvas to change up. Turn it into a button down, add a western-style yoke, piping, etc. Let your creativity run wild.
very practical pattern, I'd wear these garments often.
