This is an easy pattern and fit me perfectly! I made it from a very light weight sweater fabric purchased from Field’s Fabrics. I used a sheer ribbon for reinforcement on any seams I didn’t want to stretch. I also tried sewing over pattern tissue since the fabric is so lacey, but found out later that it wasn’t really necessary with this fabric. I did stay-stiching along most edges which helped to keep the fabric from stretching where I didn’t want it to stretch, i.e., shoulders. All seams were serged after sewing pieces together. Since this went together so well and fit so well, I will probably make it again.

This is a great sweater! I love the design and the way you used the fabric . . . lovely job!
Please tell me how you got the contrasting lighter color around the hem, sleeves, shoulders, down the front and on the "waist" seam in the back.
