Her approach works for any body type and starts with a slacks-style pattern. Once you’ve fitted this pattern, you can use it as a master pattern: Start with this and make style changes for many pants silhouettes.
Sarah explains how to choose a pattern, which fabric is best for the test garment, and how to mark the muslin with guidelines. These guidelines are essential for evaluating the muslin’s fit and for making effective fit adjustments.
Working with a model, she shows how to position the muslin on the body in order to fit the pants.

This is a wonderful series. I have Sarah's book Perfect Fitting. There is a world of difference between a photo showing drag lines and actually having Sarah put her fingers on the lines. I can see what she is talking about so much better in the videos. I like the way Sarah speaks to me via the camera. I feel like I'm in the room with her. Thanks for the series.
How does the ease differ if I am using a poly/spandex or cotton/spandex knit fabric?
