This is a crazy patch jacket made of all silk fabrics recycled from clothes. The squares are 8″ squares backed with muslin and then decorated. The jacket is embellished with stitches on a Designer Diamond machine, embroidery designs from many sources, including stand alone lace, lace, ribbon, decorative braid, and beads. The pattern is a modification of an old Vogue pattern. I designed the front fans myself. The center of the back is from an old dresser scarf.

Absolutely stellar effect. I adore the color combinations and textural variety. The colors and cut of this would enhance any outfit and all skin tones. Great job.

Just saw your jacket for the first time tonight- you did a wonderful job on it, and it is one that many would ask to buy right off your back, I am sure of that!! Not to mention it would be very expensive if found in a store... you are very talented!
